About Us

A country kennel with resident owners and caring staff. Family owned by long time breeders of world renowned Golden Retrievers and English Cockers. We have been providing personal, loving care for visiting pets for over 30 years. Our pets love it here, so will yours!

Debbie Mason

Resident owner, Debbie Mason, has been around animals all of her life. She has bred, trained and shown Golden Retrievers and English Cocker Spaniels since1969. Her dogs have had great success in the show ring and in the field but most importantly are beloved pets and companions. She and her family, including her Mother Jean, her Father Hayden, brother Dana and sister Diana started the boarding business at Greengate Kennel in order to provide the kind of personal loving care they wanted for their own animals.

Greengate Kennel has been a member of the American Boarding Association for over 30 years.

Hours of Operation

Monday through Saturday - 9am-12pm & 3-6pm
*We will be closed for drop off and pick up from Noon to 3pm*

Sundays 4pm-6pm

By appointment only: You may schedule an appointment to pick your pet up 'out of hours'. There will be a $25 fee in addition to the regular boarding charge for the day.

Payment: We accept cash or check
*Returned Check Charge is $25

We are closed on all major holidays, however we are on site caring for your pet.

Boarding Information

Greengate Kennel, owned and operated by Debbie Mason, offers boarding services for your dog and cat. We look forward to meeting you and your precious pets.
Should you wish to bring a feeling of 'home' for your pets stay, we welcome your beds, blankets and toys. Our goal is to make your pet feel secure and happy during their stay.
Our kennel is heated and air-conditioned.

Services and Fees

**All pets boarding with us must be current on vaccines. If you choose for your dog to have the bordatella (kennel cough) vaccine, it must be given two weeks prior to your dogs stay.**
Our kennel provides individual indoor and outdoor runs

Dogs

Dogs under 30 lbs: $20 per day
Dogs over 30 lbs: $25 per day
Dogs over 100 lbs: $27 per day

Cats

Cat Condo (2 levels in a 2' 5" x 2' 5" area): $18 per day
Cat Cage: $16 per day

Additional Fees

Own food: We welcome you to bring your pets food for us to feed. We will follow your specific feeding instructions. The fee is $1 per day for your own food.
If you choose not to bring food, we offer the finest lamb and rice, kibble and canned food for dogs. We also offer dry and canned food for cats.
Variety is important to meeting your pets preference.

We supply treats to your pet during the morning and evening hours.

Medication: If your dog or cat require medication, we will gladly administer them. The fee for medication is $1 per administration.
Bathing: Wish to have your dog bathed prior to your return?

Small dogs:    $45
Medium dogs: $50
Large dogs:    $55+
Nails only:      $15

Nature Walk & Large Play Yard Area Options

Nature Walk

Our caring staff members will take your dog for a 15 minute walk around the beautiful grounds shown on our "Home Page".
Your dog will be leashed for safety when we take our walk around many acres of beautiful land, woods and paths available.
Scheduled daily upon request. 15 Minutes for $12.

Large Play Yard Area

Our staff members look forward to interacting and supervising your dog during 'play' time in our large enclosed area. This offers your dog freedom to romp and play, chase a ball, catch a frisbee, or take a dip in our kiddie pool.
Scheduled daily upon request. 15 minutes for $12.
Dogs in the same family can have 'group' play! $6 per dog.
